Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Dialysis for a travel nursing job in Libby, Montana. This position requires 1-2 years of acute care experience and offers a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week, 10-hour days.

As a Dialysis Travel Nurse, you will assist pre- and during dialysis procedures, monitor patients, and support the care team in a fast-paced setting. Travel experience preferred; BLS certification required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience is required.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Prime dialyzer and bloodlines.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Prepare dialysis equipment.
• Oversee dialysis treatment.
• Cannulate accesses.
• Clean and dress permanent and temporary catheters.
• Identify irregular dialysis reactions and notify appropriate medical team members.
• Teach patient and significant others how to manage illness.
