TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Dialysis for a travel nursing job in Oneill, Nebraska. This role features 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, and a 13-week assignment with travel considerations.

The RN should have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience, BLS, and may need additional certifications before starting. Duties include dialysis procedures, patient care, and teaching patients and families.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required before starting.
• Travel nursing assignment in Nebraska.

Responsibilities

• Prime dialyzer and bloodlines.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Prepare dialysis equipment.
• Oversee dialysis treatment.
• Cannulate accesses.
• Clean and dress permanent and temporary catheters.
• Identify irregular dialysis reactions and notify medical team.
• Educate patient and family on illness management.
