Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Transportation Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Applied Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
  • 0-4 years of applicable experience.
  • Ability to conduct effective and rigorous data analyses.
  • Experience with scripting tools such as Python, R, or others.
  • Understanding of the underpinnings of travel demand models and familiarity with travel demand modeling software such as TransCAD and/or OpenPaths.

  • Collect and organize data and technical documents
  • Prepare high-quality written material
  • Complete project tasks on time and within budget
  • Become familiar with consulting and one or more transportation domain areas
  • Produces and delivers exceptional quality work that is thorough, polished, and reflects well on CS
  • Provides exceptional value-added service to project managers and/or clients and communicates consistently with internal and external team members
  • Identify opportunities to address client requirements through the development of innovative data analysis/travel modeling/data engineering solutions
  • Actively listens and seeks to understand client or project manager needs
  • Learn new tools and technologies as appropriate
