Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions CHS in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Travel RN to join the CVU - Cardiovascular Unit for a 13-week assignment. You will admit patients, prep for cath procedures, and support cardiology services in a high acuity unit.

The role requires an AZ RN license (or compact), ACLS and BLS, with 12-hour days and rotating call. Travel nurses must reside more than 50 miles from the facility and be eligible for CHS travel positions.

Qualifications

• Must have AZ RN license or compact license with ACLS and BLS certification.
• Experience in PACU, ICU, telemetry, cath lab or surgery center is welcome.
• Travel assignment: 13 weeks, 48 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, days.

Responsibilities

• Admit patients to the unit and prepare them for procedures.
• Prep patients for Cath procedures (checklists, IV, access).
• Prepare patients for Cardioversions and TEE and monitor sedated patients.
• Sedate, circulate, and document bedside procedures (CV & TEE).
• Discharge patients with teaching and proper documentation.
