MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a travel job in Wichita, Kansas. The role involves preparing operating rooms, supporting the clinical team, and ensuring patient safety during surgical procedures.

This travel opportunity offers a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week and 10-hour days. The candidate must have 18 months of surgical technologist experience, a High School Diploma or equivalent OR tech training, and BLS and national certifications.

Qualifications

• 18 months of experience as a Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting.
• High School Diploma or Completion of accredited Operating Room Technologist course or equivalent training.
• BLS Certification and National Certification required.
• Must be able to demonstrate dexterity in the use of surgical instruments and knowledge of the step-by-step procedure for various surgical cases.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms timely for surgical procedures and assist the team as needed.
• Under the supervision of the RN circulator, perform duties and delegate tasks to provide optimum patient care.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure continuity of patient care.
