Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a travel assignment in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The role involves scrubbing, circulating, and instrument handling in the CVOR during 12-hour evening shifts over a 13-week period.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program or 3 years’ recent CVOR experience, CPR, and CVOR intraoperative knowledge. We offer weekly pay, housing options, credentialing support, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or 3 years recent experience working as a surgical technician in an acute care setting.
• Current CPR provider card.
• Minimum of eighteen months CVOR recent experience or completed clinical orientation for open-heart care.

Responsibilities

• Performs treatments per protocols.
• Scrubs for CVOR and assists in circulating roles.
• Prepares instruments and counts sponges accurately.
• Obtains specimens and delivers to circulating nurse.
• Assists in room turnover and on-call schedule.

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or 3 years recent experience working as a surgical technician in an acute care setting.
