Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in surgical technology.
• Travel experience required for travel assignments.
• Certification after completing a CAAHEP-accredited surgical technology program or other programmatically accredited program.
• Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by NBSTSA is required.

Responsibilities

• Scrub open heart and cardiovascular cases and support surgical teams.
• Adhere to sterile techniques and maintain sterile fields.
• Prepare operating room, pass instruments and supplies, and manage surgical equipment.
• Perform sponge and supply counts to prevent foreign objects.
