Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a travel assignment in Valparaiso, Indiana. This role supports open heart procedures and other complex surgeries in a 12-bed OR, delivering skilled surgical technologist coverage.

Requirements include CST through NBSTSA, BLS, and at least 2 years of OR experience with open heart cases; preferred Cerner EMR and Stryker equipment. Schedule is days, 40 hours per week, travel assignment for 13 weeks.

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA and BLS required.
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience, including open heart.
• Open heart experience mandatory; scrubbing across multiple specialties.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist in OR with Ortho, Neuro, DaVinci, General and Gyne surgeries.
• Maintain sterile technique and patient safety in a fast-paced unit.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
