Job summary

Thrive Staffing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The role involves assisting in cardiovascular surgeries, maintaining a sterile field, and supporting the surgical team in a busy CVOR.

The position offers 40 hours per week with day shifts (6:30 AM–5:00 PM) and potential on-call duties based on facility needs. CST certification and BLS are required, with at least two years in CVOR.

Qualifications

• CST Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CVOR setting.
• Strong skills in cardiac surgery and experience with thoracic da Vinci procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the surgical field and pass instruments and supplies during surgery.
• Maintain a sterile environment throughout surgical procedures.
• Assist in turning over operating rooms between cases to ensure efficient workflow.
• Support surgeons and medical staff during various cardiac and thoracic procedures.
• Utilize da Vinci surgical system where applicable.
