Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist in Houston, TX for a 13-week assignment. The role requires CVOR experience, 40 hours per week, and a 10-hour shift with days/evenings and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or 3 years recent experience as a surgical technician in an acute care setting.
• Current CPR provider card.
• Minimum of eighteen months of CVOR recent experience or completed clinical orientation for open-heart patient care.

Responsibilities

• Performs treatments per protocols.
• Scrubs for CVOR and related roles; assists in instrument handling and counts.
• Picks supplies for surgeries and sets up instruments; maintains instrument/sponge counts.
• Obtains specimens and assists circulating nurse; supports room turnover and on-call schedule.
