Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a CVOR Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Fort Myers, FL. The role includes set up of the OR, instrument handling, and coordination with the surgical team to ensure patient safety.

You will work 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, with competitive pay and benefits. Must have one year CVOR experience and BLS; CST certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CVOR surgical tech.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ ARC).
• CST or nationally recognized equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Set up the operating room prior to surgical procedures.
• Stock surgical supplies and inspect surgical machines and equipment.
• Assist in transporting patients to and from surgery as required.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and the surgical team.
• Anticipate the surgeon’s needs and pass instruments to maintain flow.
• Maintain sterility and infection control standards.
• Collaborate with health team members for seamless workflow.
