Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a CVOR Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Mason City, IA. This role focuses on preparing the OR, passing instruments, and maintaining sterile technique to support cardiovascular procedures.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CVOR surgical tech.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ ARC).
• CST or nationally recognized equivalent certification preferred.
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Set up the operating room prior to procedures.
• Stock supplies and inspect equipment for proper function.
• Assist in transporting patients to and from surgery as needed.
• Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to deliver coordinated care.
• Pass instruments efficiently to maintain procedural flow.
• Maintain sterility and follow infection control standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols and hospital regulatory standards.
