CVOR Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CVOR Technician to join our surgical team. This position requires a strong background in cardiac, vascular, and thoracic procedures, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule

The scheduled work hours for this position are from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with additional on-call responsibilities and potential late stays.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a hospital setting is required.

• Fistula creation/interventions


• Video‑Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS)


• Thoracotomy


• Femoral‑Popliteal Bypass


• Interventional Angiograms


• Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) placement


• Right Ventricular Assist Device (RVAD) placement


• Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) setups

Team Dynamics and Environment

• Our team comprises dedicated professionals with extensive experience, with many members having been part of the unit for nearly 20 years.


• Travelers will have support from a nurse backup during on‑call duties, ensuring comfort and assistance when needed.


• The location offers a vibrant atmosphere on the seacoast of New Hampshire, conveniently positioned near Boston and the White Mountains.

Additional Information

Time off requests must be included in the employment contract. On‑call requirements may include one weekend per month and 2‑3 additional days during the week.
