Qualifications

• Current certification as a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Tech or Surgical Technologist with CVOR experience.
• At least one year of recent experience supporting cardiovascular surgical procedures.
• Proficient knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical instrumentation, and cardiovascular equipment.
• Up-to-date BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively support high-performing surgical teams.
• Flexibility and enthusiasm for travel assignments in new clinical environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cardiovascular surgical suites by ensuring all instrumentation and sterile fields are set to precise standards.
• Scrub and assist in a variety of cardiovascular surgeries, working closely with surgeons and nursing staff.
• Monitor, care for, and troubleshoot specialized cardiovascular equipment throughout procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and support post-operative patient care as needed.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and hospital regulations.
