Job summary

ARMStaffing seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join the Operating Room team on a travel assignment in Portland, ME. The ideal candidate has at least two years of surgical experience, preferably in a Level 1 trauma setting, and will assist in procedures while maintaining a sterile environment.

Responsibilities include supporting the surgical team, preparing sterile fields, handling instruments, and collaborating to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a surgical setting, with Level 1 trauma experience preferred.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST).
• Experience in General, GU/GYN, Orthopedic trauma, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Endovascular is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgical team during operations.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field throughout the procedure.
• Handle surgical instruments and supplies efficiently.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
