Job Summary

CVOR Tech, Operating Room Open Heart, Winchester, VA. The CVOR Tech supports cardiac surgical services during open-heart and major vascular procedures. The role requires 2+ years of CVOR CST experience, a Virginia license, and required certifications.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week. Shift windows are 6:15 a.m. 4:45 p.m. for first‑case cardiac surgery and 6:45 a.m. 5:15 p.m. for other cases. On‑call coverage is required 1114 days per four‑week schedule, including weekend rotation.
• Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of CVOR CST experience
  • Virginia state license, with license status included
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • NBSTSA certification
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience with open‑heart and major vascular procedures
  • Familiarity with coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) procedures
  • Familiarity with valve replacements and repairs
  • Familiarity with aortic surgery
  • Familiarity with structural heart procedures
  • Familiarity with extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) and mechanical circulatory support
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Supports cardiac surgical procedures in a CVOR setting.
  • Blue scrubs are required in accordance with applicable dress code policy.
  • Submission should include CVOR Tech work experience and the current status of the Virginia license.
