The role involves assisting with high-caliber surgical procedures, including ECMO, CABG, LVAD, thoracic robot surgeries, lobectomies, mitral valve repairs, lung resections, and transplant experiences, supporting a busy surgical department with teaching hospital experience.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS, CST*, completed surgical technologist program or two years of surgical technology experience; experience with ECMO, CABG, LVAD, thoracic surgeries, lung resections, transplant procedures preferred.
• Education/Experience Requirements: Two years of surgical technologist experience in a cardiac/thoracic environment; Level I trauma hospital experience required.
• Location Requirements: No specific location requirement beyond the hospital setting.
• Schedule: Day/Evening, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with start date of 11/16/2026 and end date of 03/15/2027.
