Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid nursing license, experience in cardiovascular operating room settings, and familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system. Experience in cardiovascular operating rooms (CVOR) for at least 2 years is preferred; otherwise, general OR experience and prior travel experience are acceptable.
• Schedule: Days shift, either 8-hour or 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Start times may vary between 0600 and 0650, based on departmental needs.
• Responsibilities include assisting with open heart surgery cases, monitoring patient status, and ensuring compliance with operational protocols.
• Certifications in cardiovascular or surgical nursing specialties are preferred.
• The candidate must complete the required Ascension skills checklist and pass license verification and professional profile checks.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
