Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Surgical Tech/OR Tech with CVOR experience for a day-shift at a Level IV Trauma Center teaching hospital.

Primary duties include scrubbing, circulating, and equipment documentation in a 14-OR facility with a ~25 daily census. The role features a 3x12 day shift (6:45 AM–7:15 PM), some on-call and weekend requirements, and travel-friendly benefits such as housing allowances and per diem.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• CVOR experience including major CV procedures.
• NBSTSA certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• WV or Compact OR Tech license to start; pending license considered.
• Cerner charting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Level IV Trauma Center with 14 ORs and ~25 daily census.
• 3x12 day shift 6:45 AM-7:15 PM, weekdays.
• Occasional weeknight on-call and ~1 weekend per month.
• No floating required.
• Scrubbing, circulating, and equipment documentation.
• Uses OR tables, positioning aids, and documentation tools.
• Charting via Cerner and Accudose.
• First-time travelers accepted with CVOR/general surgery scrubbing exp.
• Residence >100 miles from facility; case-by-case 75-99 miles.
• Orientation every other Monday.
• Flu vaccine required; COVID vaccine not required.
• Free traveler parking.
