American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Certified Surgical Tech for CVOR in Rapid City, SD, with a minimum of 2 years CVOR experience in Level 1/2 trauma settings. The role is circulating only, requires BLS, an accredited surgical technology program degree, and Epic experience; CST certification preferred.

This travel opportunity offers housing assistance and licensure reimbursements. Responsibilities include supporting two-tech OR teams, 1:1 patient care, and on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years CVOR experience
• Level 1 or 2 trauma experience required
• BLS certification required
• Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program required
• CST certification preferred
• Associate Degree in a healthcare related field or CST certification required
• License required if applicable
• Strong CVOR background with independence in work
• Epic experience required
• Circulating role only, no scrubbing in

Responsibilities

• Cardiovascular operating room with 2 ORs, 20 Pre-Op bays, 14 PACU bays
• Cardio and thoracic caseload including CABG, TAVR, valve replacements, thoracic cases
• 1:1 OR patient ratio
• May float to Main OR
• Uses Epic, Omnicell, and Alaris equipment
• 8 or 10 hour shifts to be determined during interview
• On-call rotation: one overnight per week and every 3rd weekend
• Potential to work every holiday
• 2 Tech model with shared setup and draping responsibilities
• Orientation consists of 5 shifts of 8 hours
• On-call response time of 15 minutes with accommodations
• Time off requests require manager approval
• First-time travelers considered; travelers live >100 miles away
• Permanent staff wait one full year before traveling again
