Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a CVOR RN for a travel assignment in Oak Lawn, Illinois. The role focuses on operating room support for open heart and cardiovascular procedures in a high-volume setting.

The nurse will scrub and circulate on 10-hour daytime shifts, 4 days per week, with a rotating weekend schedule. BLS, OR/CVOR certification, and EPIC experience are required, with 2–3 years of acute care practice preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with OR/CVOR experience.
• BLS certification required.
• 2-3 years of acute care experience (or 3 years hybrid experience for IR Hybrid Tech).
• Active license and ability to drive.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate in high-acuity cardiac and vascular cases.
• Support adult cardiac surgeries including TAVR, AAA, endarterectomies.
• Maintain EPIC documentation and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
