Job summary

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a CVOR travel nurse in Saint Louis, Missouri for a 13-week assignment starting Oct 12, 2026. The RN will scrub cardiovascular, thoracic, and transplant surgeries, with 40 hours per week on a night shift.

Requirements include 2 years RN experience (1 from Level 1 trauma), BLS and ACLS, and BSN preferred. Local candidates are not accepted; travel-friendly credentialing and EPIC charting are expected.

Qualifications

• 2 years RN experience required; 1 year may be considered from a Level 1 trauma facility.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS; ACLS required for Barnes-Jewish Hospital location for all RNs except certain roles.
• Scrub experience for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery is required.
• Must have trauma experience and be able to handle emergent cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide scrub support for CVOR, cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and transplant cases.
• Assist with intraoperative responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Coordinate with anesthesia, circulator, and nursing teams to maintain patient safety.
