Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri. The CVOR RN will circulate in cardiothoracic procedures and provide perioperative care to patients across the OR.

The role requires 1-2 years of acute care experience, BLS certification, and availability for 13 weeks, with 10-hour night shifts and 40 hours per week; travel experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of acute care RN experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional CVOR perioperative nursing care to cardiothoracic patients.
• Circulate for a variety of cardiothoracic procedures and assist team during surgeries.
• Monitor patient status and coordinate with surgeons and staff in the OR.
• Maintain aseptic technique and sterile equipment throughout procedures.
• Ensure proper handling of specimens and equipment readiness for cases.
