Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a CVOR travel nurse (RN) for an 13-week assignment in Hudson, Florida. The CVOR RN will circulate for a variety of cardiothoracic procedures, working 40 hours per week in day shifts, with travel nursing as the employment type.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and the ability to manage sterile technique and operate in a fast-paced OR environment.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience preferred for CVOR RN.
• 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week (travel).

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and evaluate patient care before, during and after surgery.
• Assist physician during procedures and maintain aseptic technique.
• Coordinate operating room activities ensuring sterility and equipment readiness.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
• Manage specimens and ensure proper handling.
• Support cardiothoracic procedures and other complex surgeries.
