Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel nurse CVOR in Jacksonville, Florida. You will join a skilled surgical team for a 13-week assignment, providing direct and perioperative care in the CVOR.

The role requires at least one year of CVOR RN experience, a valid RN license, and current BLS. ACLS and other certifications may be preferred. Travel nurses receive competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and support from a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of CVOR RN experience.
• Valid RN license per state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to deliver coordinated care.
• Prepare the CVOR and ensure sterile supplies and equipment are ready.
• Position patients safely and participate in Universal Protocol and timeouts.
• Coordinate post-surgical handoff to recovery and ensure documentation.
