Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a 12-week travel nursing job in Gainesville, Florida. The role includes assessing, planning, and evaluating nursing care needs before, during, and after surgical procedures. The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and be certified in ACLS and BLS.

Qualifications

Must stand and walk for long periods, lift 20 pounds easily, and at times lift up to 50 pounds.
1-2 years of recent acute care experience required.
Required certifications include ACLS and BLS.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan and evaluate nursing care needs before, during, and after surgeries.
Participate in care of patients receiving conscious sedation.
Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
Assist physician during procedures.
Maintain aseptic techniques to prevent breaches.
