Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a CVOR RN for a travel assignment in Irving, TX. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and holds BLS and ACLS certifications.

This travel position requires 40 hours per week, days shifts, and a commitment to high standards of patient care in the cardiovascular OR. As a CVOR RN, you will support a team of physicians and clinicians, circulate for cardiothoracic procedures, and ensure sterility and patient safety throughout the case.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional CVOR care in circulating for cardiothoracic procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures and maintain aseptic technique.
• Coordinate OR with respect to equipment, sterility and supplies.
• Monitor patient vitals and administer prescribed medications.
