Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a CVOR travel nurse (RN) for a Temple, Texas assignment. The role involves circulating for cardiothoracic surgeries, ensuring aseptic technique, and supporting the surgical team. Start ASAP for a 13-week contract with 40 hours per week, evenings shift.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Availability for ASAP start and 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional CVOR care to support a team of physicians and staff.
• Circulate for cardiothoracic procedures and other complex surgeries.
• Assist physicians during procedures and maintain aseptic technique.
• Coordinate the operating room logistics, sterility, and equipment availability.
• Monitor vitals, administer medications, and handle specimens.
