Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Travel CVOR Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Norfolk, VA. You will provide direct and circulating CVOR nursing care, ensure sterile equipment, and collaborate with the surgical team to support optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• 1 year of CVOR RN experience.
• Active RN license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect CVOR nursing care during surgical procedures.
• Sterile preparation of the OR and equipment; assist with positioning and draping.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perfusionists for patient safety.
• Verify surgical supplies via preference cards and ensure immediate post-surgical handoff.
• Adhere to Universal Protocol and infection control guidelines; respond to intraoperative emergencies.
