Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Paducah, Kentucky.

The CVOR RN will circulate for cardiothoracic procedures, support a team of physicians and RNs, and ensure high standards of patient care in a fast-paced OR. 1-2 years acute care experience and BLS/ACLS are required. This travel assignment offers 40 hours per week over 26 weeks in Paducah, KY. Travel stipends and weekly pay are typical benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years acute care experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• CVOR RN with Cardiovascular OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• As CVOR Travel Nurse, provide professional CVOR care to support a team of physicians and staff.
• Assess, plan and evaluate patient care before, during and after surgical procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures and maintain sterile technique.
• Administer medications, monitor vitals, and apply dressings.
• Coordinate operating room activities and ensure equipment sterility.
• Handle specimens and maintain patient safety in a fast-paced environment.
