ARMStaffing is seeking a Cardiac Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Newark, NJ. The ideal candidate has extensive cardiac OR experience, including CABG and valve surgeries, and can circulate on heart cases.

Schedule is 07:00–17:00 with 40 hours per week, and on-call rotations including weekends and some night shifts. Requires RN license and 2 years in OR, Epic proficiency, and onboarding immunizations.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years OR experience in cardiac surgery.
• Epic software proficiency required.
• CPR/ACLS certifications preferred.
• COVID-19 vaccination and onboarding immunizations as required.

Responsibilities

• Circulate during cardiac open heart surgeries, ensuring all necessary equipment is available and functioning.
• Assist in the preparation of the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Monitor patient's vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to provide optimal patient care.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including a minimum of one weekend per month and available for night shifts.

Job Description

We are seeking a Cardiac Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) with extensive experience in cardiac procedures, including coronary bypass graft surgery (CABG), heart valve surgeries (MVR, AVR), and general and vascular cases. The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing the operating room environment and is skilled in circulating on heart cases.

Responsibilities

• Circulate during cardiac open heart surgeries, ensuring all necessary equipment is available and functioning.
• Assist in the preparation of the operating room for surgical procedures.
