Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a CVOR RN for an immediate travel assignment in Augusta, GA. The RN will support a team of physicians and staff, circulating for a variety of cardiothoracic surgeries and related complex procedures.

The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and current ACLS/BLS certifications, with duties including maintaining aseptic technique and coordinating OR activities. The position offers a 16-week duration, 12-hour shifts (days), and a tax-free stipend component.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years recent acute care experience required.
• CVOR travel assignment knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional CVOR nursing care in a surgical setting.
• Circulate for cardiothoracic procedures with a surgical team.
• Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care before, during, and after surgery.
• Maintain sterile technique and coordinate OR equipment and supplies.
• Assist physicians during procedures and monitor patient conditions.
