Fusion Medical Staffing‑Nursing is seeking a CVOR RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Alexandria, LA. The role involves direct and indirect nursing care in the cardiovascular operating room, collaborating with the surgical team to ensure sterile equipment, proper patient positioning, and safe draping.

Qualifications

• One year of recent CVOR RN experience.
• Valid RN license per state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proficiency in CVOR procedures and assist in operative cases.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and the surgical team for coordinated care.
• Prepare the CVOR and assemble instruments, implants, and meds for procedures.
• Ensure sterile technique and Universal Protocol compliance throughout surgery.
• Provide post-surgical handoff and care coordination to the recovery team.
