Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a CVOR RN for a 13‑week travel assignment in Cypress, TX. The RN will work 40 hours per week, days shift, in a hospital operating room setting, providing direct and indirect nursing care for cardiovascular procedures.

The role requires one year of CVOR RN experience, an active RN license, and a current BLS certification. ACLS and other licenses may be required depending on facility needs.

Qualifications

• One year of recent CVOR RN experience.
• Active RN license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect care before, during, and after surgery.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the team to ensure patient safety.
• Prepare the Cardiovascular OR, assemble equipment, and verify sterility.
• Respond to emergencies during surgery and coordinate post‑operative handoff.
