Job summary

TotalMed RN in Indianapolis, Indiana is seeking a CVOR RN for a 13-week travel assignment. The position offers 40 hours per week, 10-hour days, and is a travel employment with pay on a 10-hour shift basis. The posting notes ACLS/BLS and requires 1–2 years of acute care experience.

Immediate travel opening with Cardiovascular Operating Room responsibilities. The CVOR RN will circulate for cardiothoracic procedures, support the surgical team, administer medications, and maintain aseptic technique

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years acute care experience.
• CVOR experience preferred.
• Travel assignment experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Circulate for cardiothoracic surgical procedures and other complex surgeries.
• Provide professional CVOR care to support the team of physicians and staff.
• Assess, plan and evaluate nursing care before, during, and after procedures.
• Administer medications, monitor vitals, and apply dressings.
• Maintain aseptic technique and coordinate OR sterility and equipment.
• Assist physicians during procedures and handle specimens appropriately.
