Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a CVOR RN travel nurse in Kalamazoo, MI, for a 13-week assignment. The role focuses on circulating for cardiothoracic procedures, with 40 hours per week and day shifts. RNFA and BLS certifications are required.

Qualifications

• CVOR First Assist specialty required.
• Travel assignment duration is 13 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and evaluate nursing care before, during and after a surgical procedure.
• Assist physicians during CVOR procedures and maintain sterile technique.
• Provide postoperative care and monitor vital signs post-operation.
• Coordinate operating room readiness including equipment and supplies.
• Administer prescribed medications and manage dressings as needed.
• Ensure proper handling and documentation of specimens.
