Job summary

The organization is seeking a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Registered Nurse (RN) for an assignment beginning October 5, 2026, in Towson, Maryland. The RN will provide direct patient care to postoperative cardiac surgery patients in a high-acuity ICU, addressing complex hemodynamic instability and advanced interventions.

Start on 10/05/2026, 13 weeks, 3x12-hour shifts, 11:00 AM rotations, minimum 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• MD RN license, BLS, CPI, ACLS, NIHSS required; OCN and TCNN preferred.
• Minimum 2 years ICU OH experience with post-op cardiac surgery patients.
• Experience with open heart post-operative care and hemodynamic monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to postoperative cardiac surgery patients in a CVICU.
• Manage hemodynamics, inotropes, and advanced cardiac devices in a high-acuity ICU.
• Coordinate care with rotating shifts and adhere to documentation standards.
