Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a CVICU travel nurse in Fargo, ND for a travel nursing assignment. The position requires 1-2 years of acute care experience and certs ACLS, BLS, NIH.

12-hour rotating shifts, 36 hours per week, travel employment with tax-free stipends to be determined. As a CVICU Travel Nurse, you will care for patients after advanced cardiovascular procedures, work with a diverse team, and support urgent clinical needs in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• 2 years of acute care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to patients with potentially life-threatening heart conditions.
• Prepare and administer prescribed medications.
• Take samples for diagnostic tests; order, interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests.
• Apply hemodynamic, phlebotomy and IV protocols.
• Be called in for emergencies to provide CPR and operate defibrillators hospital-wide.
• Educate patients and family members on how to manage recovery at home.
