TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Redding, California. The right RN should have 1-2 years' recent acute care experience and will work a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

As a CVICU Travel Nurse, you will care for patients after open-heart procedures, manage medications, interpret tests, and follow hemodynamic and IV protocols. Start ASAP; ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS certifications required, with potential additional

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS certifications required; additional certs may be needed.
• Travel assignment in Redding, CA with 13-week duration.
• Start ASAP for CVICU duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to patients with potentially life-threatening heart conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patients’ responses.
• Take samples for diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Apply hemodynamic, phlebotomy and IV protocols.
• Respond to emergencies, perform CPR, and operate defibrillators.
• Educate patients and families on recovery at home.
