Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Towson, Maryland. The CVICU RN will provide comprehensive nursing care for critically ill cardiac surgery patients and handle immediate post-op care with a strong emphasis on teamwork.

assignment is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, on-night shifts with 3x12 schedule and potential rotation. Active Maryland RN license and CVICU experience required.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license.
• Minimum 2 years CVICU experience including immediate post-op care.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIH required; OCN and TCNN preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system.

Responsibilities

• Manage critical care patients post cardiac surgery.
• Administer medications and monitor patient hemodynamics.
• Utilize advanced technologies such as ECMO and CRRT.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:2.
