Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Towson, Maryland. This CVICU position requires 1-2 years of acute care experience and offers a 16-week assignment with 36 hours per week and 12-hour rotating shifts.

The CVICU Travel Nurse will care for patients after complex cardiovascular procedures, perform critical care tasks, administer medications, monitor diagnostics, and respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of acute care experience.
• CVICU specialty experience preferred.
• Ability to work a 16-week travel assignment with 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to CVICU patients after procedures.
• Administer prescribed medications.
• Order, interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests.
• Apply hemodynamic monitoring and IV protocols.
• Respond to emergencies with CPR and defibrillation.
• Educate patients and families on recovery at home.
