Aya Healthcare is immediately placing a CVICU Registered Nurse in Madison, WI for a 13-week assignment with night shifts. Start date is 10/12/2026. Schedule: 3, 12-hour shifts (19:00-07:30) or alt 07:00-19:30. Weekly pay ranges from $2,357 to $2,550 and Epic is the charting system used.

Requirements include 1 year of CVICU experience, WI license or compact license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Aya offers strong benefits and housing support options where applicable.

  • Skills: Arterial line management, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, BiPAP/CPAP management, Blood Product Administration, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), Care of Ventilated Patient, Central line care/management, Central Venous Pressure Monitoring (CVP), Continuous IV sedation, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Emergency Medications, Epicardial Pacing Wire Care and Management, Fresh tracheostomy, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Infection Prevention, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV insulin protocols, Management of dysrhythmias, CVVHD/CRRT, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Post Cardiac Surgery (Not directly from the OR), Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Respiratory failure, Starting and maintaining IVs, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Valve Repair/Replacement, Ventilator Management
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS
