Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a CVICU travel nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Lenexa, KS. You’ll provide expert critical care in the ICU, manage life-support equipment, and collaborate with a dedicated clinical team.

Requirements include 1 year of CVICU experience, an active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS certifications; CCRN/TNCC/NIHSS are preferred. Travel benefits and a competitive package are offered.

Qualifications

• One year of recent CVICU RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• CCRNs, TNCC, NIHSS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients and respond to changes in status.
• Administer complex medications and treatments per critical care protocols.
• Operate and manage advanced life support equipment.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort in high-acuity ICU settings.
• Document assessments and interventions accurately for continuity of care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide education to patients and families about ICU care and recovery.
