Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a CVICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Austin, TX. The ICU RN will provide comprehensive critical care, monitor patients, manage life-support equipment, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced facility.

Requirements include one year of CVICU experience, active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS certifications. Preferred CCRN/TNCC/NIHSS credentials are discussed as part of the qualifications and ongoing education expectations.

Qualifications

• One year of recent CVICU RN experience required.
• Valid RN license per state regulations.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing and responding to changes in condition.
• Administer complex medications and treatments per critical care standards.
• Operate and manage advanced life support equipment.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort in high-acuity ICU settings.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the chart.
