Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a CVICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Evansville, IN. The role offers 36 hours per week, days, and the chance to impact critically ill patients while enjoying the support of a dedicated clinical team.

Requirements include 1 year CVICU RN experience, valid Indiana RN license, and current BLS/ACLS. Preferred CCRN, TNCC or NIHSS certifications may be considered.

Qualifications

• One year of CVICU RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing and responding to changes in condition.
• Administer complex medications and treatments per critical care nursing techniques.
• Operate and manage advanced life support equipment.
• Ensure patient safety in high-acuity ICU environments.
• Record conditions, reactions and interventions, notifying providers as needed.
• Perform and interpret hemodynamic monitoring (arterial lines, CVP, PA catheters).
• Document assessments and interventions for continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families about ICU care and recovery expectations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize care.
• Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures and technologies.
