• Performs admission assessment within the shift or in accordance with unit standards.
• Plan of care includes nursing diagnosis for each identified problem.
• Evaluates care provided and patient responses to ensure quality.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation of nursing care.
• Practices within legal boundaries of Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy.
