Job summary

UCHealth is seeking an RN Traveler to join the Cardio-Vascular ICU team in Colorado Springs. The role involves providing direct patient care in a high-acuity ICU/PCU within a fast-paced environment, using the nursing process to guide interventions and outcomes. This assignment offers a 13-week contract option with travel package/stipend.

Local options within 75 miles are available; Day shift, full-time schedule, and a strong multidisciplinary team committed to excellence in patient care.

Qualifications

• CO RN license or eNLC privileges.
• 1 year experience.
• ACLS certification.
• BLS certification with card in-hand before start date and valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide top of scope practice in direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes.
• Prioritize wellness and evidence-based practice.
• Precept new staff and learners as needed.
• Support safety and quality at the point of care.
