Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a CVICU travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Littleton, CO. The RN will work 36 hours per week on the night shift, providing critical care to patients recovering from major cardiovascular procedures.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care CVICU experience, ACLS and BLS, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Travel assignments offer weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience, preferably in CVICU.
• Active RN license with ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to CVICU patients post-surgery and during recovery.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient status.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver timely patient care.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and home management.
