VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Towson, Maryland. The CVICU Registered Nurse will provide specialized care to cardiac ICU patients and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an MD RN license with BLS, CPI, ACLS and NIH; OCN and TCNN are preferred. The assignment lasts 13 weeks with 36 hours per week and 12-hour shifts, at a hospital setting in Towson, MD.

Qualifications

• MD RN; BLS, CPI, ACLS and NIH required; OCN and TCNN preferred
• Travel assignment for 13 weeks with 36 hours/week, 12-hour shifts
• Current Maryland RN license required

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care to CVICU patients, including post-op cardiac surgery and structural heart procedures
• Monitor patients with hemodynamic instability, manage inotropes, respond to emergent situations such as ECMO or CRRT
• Administer medications and interventions to stabilize patients, including those with open chest and hemodynamic support devices
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for patient care planning and execution
• Float to MSICU as needed and work weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as scheduled
