Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU night shift travel assignment in St. Louis, MO. The role requires MO or compact RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, and solid cardiovascular ICU skills. You will care for critically ill cardiac patients in a Level I Trauma Center setting.

The assignment runs 16 weeks with 36 hours per week (3x12s) and a 13-week minimum travel engagement. Navy blue scrubs, magnet teaching hospital, and travel/licensure reimbursements are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Active MO or compact RN license required at time of consideration; pending license accepted.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac/CVICU ICU experience required.
• BSN required.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS.
• EPIC charting experience required.
• Recent experience with advanced cardiac devices such as LVADs, impellas, and intra-aortic balloon pumps required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a short-term acute care hospital's CVICU unit.
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours (19:00–7:30), every other weekend required.
• Patient ratio is typically 1:2 in the CVICU.
• Will float within service line as needed.
• Care for critically ill cardiac patients including LVADs, impellas, balloon pumps, heart failure, arrhythmias, and post-cardiac arrest conditions.
